Airdrie was the venue for this year's Chess Scotland Girl's Championships. EK had one player taking part, our very own Rebekah Jack. Rebekah was playing in the combined P6/7 and Secondary section and was seeded 6th. Despite having to face favourites Captiva Mills, Helen Lu, Leora Wadler and Iona Bryson, Rebekah held them off and was able to gain a creditable 3rd, just behind Helen and Leora.
